The eRecApp offers high-speed long-term archiving. It obtains a timestamp from a Trust Service Authority—for example, via the TSS500—for a group of documents and then replicates and customizes it for each individual document in the group. This makes it a cost-effective and high-performance solution for timestamping large volumes of documents.
TSS500 generates electronic timestamps accurate to the second in accordance with eIDAS for data objects (e.g., PDF, Word, business transactions) that can be used in the advanced and qualified categories. The goal is to document the state of a document at a specific point in time in a way that ensures its integrity.
