  • Access Logging: To troubleshoot issues and combat misuse, we process the IP address of the device you are using, the time, destination, and data volume of the request, as well as other data transmitted by your web browser (typically the address of the previously visited website, browser type and version, and operating system information). We share this information with our web hosting service provider as part of the processing and (in the event of misuse) with law enforcement authorities; otherwise, we delete it after 2 weeks.   • Cookie Management: To describe and justify the cookies we use, we process the IP address of the device you are using, evidence of and the time of your decision regarding the use of cookies, an anonymous key value, and data transmitted by your web browser (typically the address of the previously visited website, browser type and version, and operating system information). We share this information with our web hosting service provider and the manufacturer of the consent management system as part of this processing, and we delete it after 30 days.   • “Contact Form and Information Distribution: For the purpose of processing your inquiries or suggestions and sending you the requested information, we process your name, email address, and message. We share this information with our web hosting service provider as part of the processing and delete it 8 weeks after the request has been processed.   • Application Management: To receive and process your application, we process your name, contact information (phone number, email address), mailing address, proof of qualifications, resume, and, if applicable, your photo, date of birth, nationality, and information regarding your marital status. We share this information with the operator of our applicant portal as part of the processing and delete it after 6 months. The legal basis for this processing is Section 26(1), first sentence, of the Federal Data Protection Act (required for the decision regarding your employment).
     
  • Multimedia Content: To embed external videos, we process the IP address of the device you are using, the time, destination, and data volume of the request, the length of time you spent watching the video, and other data transmitted by your web browser (typically the address of the previously visited website, browser type and version, and operating system information). We share this information with our web hosting service provider as part of the processing and, for further processing under its own responsibility, with the external service provider YouTube; we delete it immediately after the video ends. As a U.S. company, YouTube is subject to U.S. laws and, in particular, to the far-reaching access powers of U.S. surveillance authorities. This means that the level of data protection afforded to your data transmitted there is lower than that of the European Union. In particular, YouTube cannot provide adequate guarantees for the protection of your data; furthermore, there is no effective legal recourse available to you in the United States. The legal basis for our data processing and the transfer to YouTube is Article 6(1)(a) and Article 49(1)(a) of the European General Data Protection Regulation (your voluntary and explicit consent).

  • Access, Deletion, and Other Rights: You may request access to the personal data we have stored about you at any time (Article 15 of the European General Data Protection Regulation). In addition, subject to the legal requirements set forth in Articles 16 through 21 of the European General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to have your data corrected or deleted, to restrict the processing of your data, and to request the portability of the data you have provided to us.
     
  • Complaints: You have the right to contact timeproof’s in-house data protection officer at any time with any complaints regarding the processing of your data.   • Withdrawal, Objection: If data processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with future effect.
